EEPEX 2025 encourages participants to fully engage with the exhibitions, technical and non-technical events, and networking opportunities. By engaging deeply, attendees will unlock their potential and connect with others who can elevate their ideas to the next level.

Project Competition

Apart from the exhibition of the yearly projects, this year we have come up with the idea of a theme-based project exhibition cum competition.

Robowar

Robowar is flagship event of EEPEX that features battles between custom-built robots. Participants design and build their robots to compete in an arena.

Aqua Sumo

Aqua Sumo involves robots competing in a water-based environment where they must push each other out of a designated area. The Event would be conducted in KU Pond in evening setup.

Circuit Desigining Competiton

Inspires students to solve practical problems through circuit design. They create functional circuits based on set challenges, judged on innovation and accuracy.

Sports Events

It include competitive games, providing a fun and engaging way for students to participate, showcase their skills, and enjoy a break from the academic atmosphere.

Watt’s the Clue?

This is an interactive competitive Treasure Hunt game where teams solve clues and complete tasks around the event space. It’s a fun way to engage participants and encourage teamwork.

Engage Elevate Execute

The EEPEX 2025 theme: Engage, Elevate, Execute represents a progressive journey. Engage focuses on active involvement from students, industry professionals, faculty, and alumni. Elevate builds on engagement by encouraging growth through knowledge sharing and empowering skills. Execute emphasizes the importance of action, where ideas are put into practice, promoting success and leadership.

Engage

“Engage” refers to active participation and involvement from all students, industry professionals, faculties, and alumni. Through discussions, exhibitions, and interactive sessions, this phase fosters a collective spirit of curiosity and involvement, sparking creativity and innovation.

Elevate

Once engagement has take place, the next phase is elevation. “Elevate” focuses on taking ideas and skills to right place. It represents growth through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and collaboration. Whether it’s a student project or an industry leader’s experience, the goal is to elevate every participant’s understanding and capability, empowering them aim higher.

Execute

The final and main pillar of the theme is “Execute,” which emphasizes action. Ideas have little impact without proper execution. This phase focuses on turning concepts into fruitful outcomes, encouraging participants to implement the lessons they’ve learned and the connections they’ve made into real-world actions.

What is EEPEX?

EEPEX (Electrical and Electronics Project Exhibition) is an annual event hosted by the Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SEEE) and Kathmandu University’s Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DoEEE). It serves as a platform for students, alumni, and industry experts to networking, showcase and explore projects and innovation in Electrical, Electronics, ICT, and Power & Energy fields.

Who can participate in EEPEX?

EEPEX is open to students, faculty, industry professionals, and tech enthusiasts. Project presentations are primarily by School Level Students, +2 Students, Undergraduate Students but anyone interested in exploring Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Communication and Power fields are welcome.

When and where is next edition of EEPEX happening?

The proposed next edition of EEPEx will be held at Multipurpose Hall Kathmandu University. The specific date is yet to be announced, so keep an eye on the official EEPEX website for the latest updates!

What activities are included in EEPEX 2025?

There are various preevents and event day activities planned in EEPEX 2025. Some of them are Project Exhibition, Hardware Hackathon, Circuit Designing Competition, Aqua Sumo, Line Following Robot, Talk Show, Watt’s the Clue? and various other events.

Do I need to register to attend?

Yes, registration is needed to attend the main event which is completely free. The registration can be done online or physically on event venue.

Is there a participation fee?

The participation fee depends upon the which pre-event or main event part you are participating. Some of the events are free whereas some events requires certain participation fee that can be paid as mentioned in respective event page.

Are there any awards or recognitions for participants?

Yes, we acknowledge the best projects in various categories like innovation, impact, and sustainability. Winners receive certificates and recognition in our media outlets.
