On May 17, 2024, representatives from DoEEE & SEEE participated in the Conference on Sustainable Telecommunication Sector in Nepal, organized by the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) on the occasion of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, 2024, at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu.
Discussions and presentations on several topics were held by representatives from ITU, APT, Ncell, NTC, and different ISPs. The Chief Guest for the program was Hon’ble Ms. Rekha Sharma, Minister, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MOCIT). The conference was attended by stakeholders, academicians, students, and technology enthusiasts.
