The Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SEEE), a club for electrical and electronics department students, was founded in 2000 AD and is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience and the welfare of its students. It carries out social welfare activities and promotes student interaction within department.

Mission & Visions

Founded back in 2000 AD, Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is a student club under the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Kathmandu University. SEEE is involved in improving learning environment and the welfare of the students in the department since its establishment. Being a multidisciplinary club, it not only focuses on the topic related to Electrical and Electronics but also conducts social welfare activities and helps improve interaction among students at the department.
The club is working under 3A's - Alumni, Academics & Activities.

Alumni

SEEE aims to develop the alumni network of Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduates from DoEEE, KU from Undergraduate level to Ph.D.

Academics

Academics is a major part of students’ study in the university. SEEE will organize different programs related to academics which helps to accelerate their academics skills and so on.

Activities

Not only academics but SEEE also focuses on extra activities too. SEEE organized different

EEPEX​

“EEPEx” is an university-level expo organized annually in Kathmandu University, Nepal by the combined effort of Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SEEE) and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DoEEE) with the main objective of providing platform for sharing, learning and building on each other’s knowledge of the technology and trends that are shaping the future. EEPEx has been successful to prove itself as a showcase that provides an opportunity for all the electrical and electronics enthusiasts. With the aspiration to introduce young minds to the latest achievements and advancements in the field of Electrical and Electronics, as well as recent software and hardware developments, along with some deep insights into the prospective career paths that could be in store for them in the future

Encipher

Encipher is a year book of DoEEE, KU & SEEE published every year. The publication of Encipher was started in 2007 and since then it has been a platform for our students, teachers and alumni to share their knowledge about the common interestsand latest technologies in the field of communication and power. The magazine consists of different articles related to the field of communication, power, AI industry and many recent developments in technology. The articles are further divided as research articles, technical articles, project articles and student articles including their experience in different programs in Kathmandu University.

CIPN Conference

 The CIP-N Conference and Interest Group aims to bring together professionals, academics, research scholars, institutions, and stakeholder agencies in Nepal and abroad (particularly Nepalese Diaspora) to discuss ways to tackle contemporary challenges of Nepal in the communications and information/signal processing sector. The Conference and Interest group will provide the framework, as well as various platforms, to collectively contribute to the Technological Readiness Level (TRL) uplifting of Nepal.

Message From President

I am very thankful and proud to serve as President of the departmental club of Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Kathmandu University. Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of SEEE, starting as Chief Editor, then Vice President, and now leading this amazing club. I’m really fortunate to work with such a dedicated and passionate group of individuals who share love and dedication for Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In SEEE, our main goals are to do well academically, grow professionally, and give back to our community. We create a fun and supportive environment where we can learn and work together on exciting projects. From workshops to talks and competitions, we offer plenty of opportunities for you to learn new things and gain practical experience. And it’s not just about us – we also want to help others. Whether it’s volunteering at schools, +2 colleges or offering training sessions, we believe in sharing our knowledge to inspire the next generation of engineers. I want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for your hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm. Together a family, Common Goal to Excel!
